Amber New is the Vice President of SAF Business Development for Tidewater Renewables. Tidewater Renewables is a Canadian clean fuels company focused on the development, construction, and operation of sustainable fuel projects that support the transition to a low-carbon economy. Tidewater owns and operates Canada's first standalone renewable diesel facility, utilizing a proprietary hydrotreating process to convert renewable feedstocks into high-quality HDRD. Amber has over 20 years experience in the energy sector, with an extensive background in business development including capital investments, project development,  and operations. She is leading Tidewater Renewables development of Canada’s first standalone SAF facility which will bring 350MM Litres per year of domestically produced SAF to market by the end of 2029.
