Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment 

1.1 Agreement: By booking a place at the Canada Clean Fuels and Carbon Markets Summit (the "Event"), you enter into a binding agreement with cKinetics, owner of cCarbon.info (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). 

1.2 Payment: Payment should be made via credit/debit card at the time of booking through the Event registration platform or by invoice if requested and agreed upon. Full payment must be received within 7 days of the invoice date or no later than 7 days before the Event, whichever is earlier. Failure to meet these payment terms may result in refusal of admittance. 

1.3 Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will receive a full refund minus any applicable fees. Cancellations after this period are non-refundable. Transfer of registration to another person or Event is not permitted unless approved by cKinetics.

2. Discounts 

2.1 Discounts: We may offer discounts, including early bird rates and member-only rates, our sole discretion. To qualify for any discounts, payment must be completed within the specified discount period.

3. Event Content and Speaker Presentations 

3.1 Content Changes: We reserve the right to modify the Event’s content, speakers, location, or timing, or to move the Event online, without liability. 

3.2 Speaker Presentations: If available and permitted by the speaker, paid delegates will receive access to presentations. 
 

4. Attendance and Conduct 

4.1 Recording: No films, photographs, or other recordings are allowed without prior written consent from us. We reserve the right to refuse or eject any delegate from the Event without liability. 

4.2 Liabilities: You are responsible for your actions at the Event venue and agree to indemnify cKinetics against all claims, costs, and expenses arising from your participation.

5. Dietary and Accessibility Requirements 

5.1 Requirements: Notify us of any dietary or accessibility needs in advance, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them.

6. Insurance 

6.1 Delegate Responsibility: Delegates should secure appropriate insurance to cover travel and other Event-related activities. We accept no responsibility for expenses or losses related to the Event’s cancellation or postponement.

7. Hotel and Travel 

7.1 Bookings: Delegates are responsible for making and paying for their own accommodation and travel arrangements.

8. Marketing and Data Use 

8.1 Marketing: By attending the Event, you consent to us using your name, job title, and company name in marketing materials. We may also share your details with Event sponsors and use recordings or photographs that include your image or voice for promotional purposes. Please notify us if you do not wish to be included.

9. Alterations and Cancellations by Us 

9.1 Changes: We may need to alter the Event’s date, location, or format. If the Event is canceled for reasons outside our control, we may offer a full refund or credit towards a future Event. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred.

10. Governing Law 

10.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of US, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
