Keith Gillard is CEO of SUSTAERO, converting Canadian wood waste into sustainable aviation fuel, as well as co-founder and director of the non-profit Foresight, Canada's largest cleantech accelerator.

Gillard is a former Fortune 100 executive, who founded, led, invested in, and exited dozens of sustainability companies.

Gillard was President of BASF Venture Capital America, Canadian Investment Manager for Mitsubishi Corporation, and General Partner of Pangaea Ventures. He sits on the advisory board of the Lifeboat Foundation, was chair of Foresight and Vestaron, and director of the CVCA, Keela, Hazel, NewLeaf, Advanced BioNutrition, and a dozen others.

He advised the World Economic Forum on sustainability, speaking at Davos on the subject, and co-authored “Inside The Minds: Best Practices for Energy Venture Capital.”

Outside of work, he’s a devoted dad and a Canadian Independent Music Award winner.
